If she wanted to I would, but right now that's just not her speed. Last year we got her in the car driving stick more, this year hopefully she gets more time to learn it and then hopefully she'll enjoy it enough to give something more a shot.

Becca's Audi is a tiptronic Auto, should be perfect as she can concentrate on the learning to race aspect and not learning to race + learning to drive a manual.

I'M OFFENDED!
This just showed up in my email....

This is an unofficial heads-up. It will probably be redundant of an official notice. We got the call the other day from Midway Stadium that due to the megatons of snow stored on the lot, they are canceling all events for April. They will use the time to get the snow out and the lot repaired. We MAY get better pavement for future events out of this unfortunate act of nature. What this means to you: Registration for the event has been closed. We will change your registration to the Novice School to be held on June 4 and 5. You are guaranteed your spot. You do not need to take any action to be registered for the June 4 and 5 event. Of course I still encourage you to go ahead and get a permanent car number if you have not yet done so. The open registration for the June 4 and 5 event will begin the customary 60 days before the event, but you who are already registered will already be listed and guaranteed your spots. If you can not make the event on June 4 and 5, you need to respond to Dave Kral before Monday April 4. We would then remove you from the list and give you a full refund. You are not allowed to sell your spot to someone else before the event registration reopens. Whether or not you can make the June 4 and 5 school, you will be guaranteed a spot at the limited-attendance FREE "Autocross Orientation Day" we will hold at Dunwoodie on Saturday April 16. Bring your car and helmet for tech. School session will be heavy on autocross procedures to make you comfortable at early events and much lighter on driving techniques than the school on June 4. We urge you all to come. My notice is unofficial, but reflects the decisions made at last night's MAC meeting. I can not take responsibility for any errors I may have made or changes made by the MAC Board -- Phil Ethier __________

quick question though, I think reg opens for the below in the next week or so:
APRIL 30...........AUTOCROSS - MOWOG 1, VALLEYFAIR
MAY 1...........AUTOCROSS - MOWOG 2, VALLEYFAIR

Is it a 2 day points thing or is it simply two seperate events? I think I'd probably try to get in on at least one of these events, if not both.
