Jurgen I'll take your exhaust dude...I just got done listening to it on youtube and I have to have it...lol

I'm out of town for a 4 day weekend this weekend and next week is Thanksgiving week obviously...any chance we can set something up for either Sunday of Thanksgiving weekend or sometime the week or so afterward?

PM me and we'll get it figured out.

I paid $100 both times at Midas when I had exhausts installed, but both were with welds. This one had to be shortened slightly to fit a hatch (Josh had a sedan befor) and for the mazdaspeed exhaust to have a flange put in. It's pretty easy to install yourself, just need to saws-all the only one off under the subframe.

You bet. I'm psyched to get the thing on! I've got 1 of the 3 bolts loose so far...lol Lots of WD-40 working away. Any idea where to find new gaskets for the exhaust? I'm thinking about just replacing all of the bolts and gaskets so it isn't permanently rusted on there...

At one time, I would've said "the auto parts store will have any gasket you need", but I tried 3 places, and none of them had a simple 3-bolt 3" gasket..... I feel like they were just too lazy too look though.

As long as they're a "standard" gasket, I should be able to find them online too then I suppose. I'll have to do some digging. At least now I know what I'm looking for...lol Thanks Jay.

at my local autozone that had 2 different styles (both 3 inch). try local autozone, a 3 pack was 7 bucks.

AZ was actually the first place I looked. The guy told me they didn't sell universal exhaust gaskets, and that unless I could give him a specific model/year to look up he couldn't help me. At other stores, I've had people say "ya, we don't have anything universal, but feel free to dig around back there and see if you can find something close enough". Which is why I'm pretty sure the people I talked to were just being lazy DB's

I don't think I got a gasket when I picked it up from Josh, so I'm guessing they just used the stock one at the DP.
