Off with the Old, In with the New

No sledgehammers this time, sorry

We will be residing our house this end of august and I'm looking for some man power these are the dates I'm thinking right now. I have to talk to my father in law first. But if anything changes, everything will get pushed into Sept.

Removing siding and repairing the Support beam
Date: Sept 3 (tentative), 4, 5, 6
Time: Friday evening only, Sat, Sun, Mon all day

Residing
Date: Sept 10 (tentative), 11, 12
Time: Friday evening only, Sat, Sun

I plan on providing drinks (soda and beer) and some pizza/chips for the hard workers If you dont like what I have, then you better bring your own

We will work until everything is done, so any help and any point is much appreciated. I have never sided a house my self but both father have experience.

As long as my hands are still doing ok I'd be down for helping. I've never done siding, so would be nice to learn and help out.

I r getting married that second weekend, and have a different wedding to go to the first weekend.

Siding showed up!

So the dates I have are the correct final dates. I'm sure we will be working lots all day. Just give me or Erik a txt/call if you need directions or want to make sure we are around.

With the new dates... I'll be gettin married that first weekend, and on the way home from Hawaii the second... you guys have fun though... <.<

What kind of siding? If its vinal and the house isn't like 5000 square feet, tearoff is a 1 man show for about a day.

We have Cedar now and we are replacing with Vinyl.

We also have a support beam we are replacing under a front window, so tear off and repair is the first weekend for sure. Basically we just keep working til it is done. If we dont need another weekend for siding maybe I'll start my bathroom remodel

So we will be starting this project tonight. If anyone is bored go ahead and stop on over after 6pm (thurs & fri) We will also be working all weekend and Monday.
