Hi, I just bought a 06 MS6 few weeks ago and i love this car. Well, last night i did an oil changed and i noticed that there were some oil grease & gunk shitt around the crank pulley. I also spotted some tranny oil leaking from the transfer case. I'm very pissed because the car only has about 24,xxx miles. Beside the oil leak, what do you guys think about the ecu reflash or other recalls?? I've heard goods and bad things about it. My question is, which Mazda dealer do you guys recommend me taking in the car? I want to go to a shop is up to date and knows what they're doing, not some B.S shop.

Welcome to the side, don't know much about the MS6 and its issues, and so I'll let someone more familiar answer that one. I person recommend Morrie's Mazda in Minnetonka, I've had good experiences there.

Welcome aboard! You should post in the intro forum.

Morrie's Mazda in Minnetonka is a sponsor of the site. I've personally had my car serviced there a few times and have been quite happy with it.

Welcome to the forum.

I've had all service completed at Morrie's. No complaints here. Free wifi, water, and expensive cars to oogle at.

DO NOT LET THEM WASH YOUR CAR.

IDK, some people just don't like the automated cloth car washes. I got the Morrie's Scrub Club and have had my car through there almost 100 times. Sure my car has a few scratches but they were not from that car wash.

Yeah, scratching isn't the problem with Morries wash. It's keeping the license plate on the back of the car that's the challenge.

I ALWAYS ask the service guys to NOT wash my car when I take it to Morries. They do fine work, but you think with the Maseratis and stuff they sell, they'd be able to throw a couple bucks towards fixing that death trap.

It'd be my guess that the Maseratis and such get taken care of in the heated interior wash bay we used for our detail day.

Thanks 4 all the comments. I just i'm gonna take it to the brookdale dealer and not have my car wash. I don't trust them guys washing my car.

Last time I got service done there (few months ago) they were talking about a new car wash they were getting. If I remember correctly though it still wasn't going to be touch less.

Their wash scratched my 6, and after I told them not to wash the car they still did. I have since taken my cars to Walser with zero complaints.

Their wash does suck at drying, that's for sure. I always hand wash mine in their parking lot, and I haven't noticed new scratches afterwards while doing so. I think people just like to blame the wash because they happen to notice the scratches after the wash and assume this correlation means causation. If their wash was as bad as you guys make it out to be, then mine car would have been scratched to hell from it by now.

I think the cars in the Maserati show room are well enough example of how bad that car wash really is let alone add in our experiences.

I have seen it totally swirly bird my entire car in one wash. You may not be able to notice the swirls/scratches because of the color of your paint, but they are there.
