MS3 Problematic Alarm system...HELP!

I posted this on mazda247...nobody there can help me. Hopefully some of you will be able to tell me what the F is going on.

My friggen alarm is annoying as hell! I'll unlock the doors with my remote, hitting it twice to unlock all doors. Take the next ten steps to get to my car, open the doors and BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP! Until I hit the alarm button and it shuts off. I turn my car on, drive away, and drop my buddy off at his house. He opens his door and BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP! I have to shut off the engine and hit the alarm button again for it to stop! Then I start it back up again and head home. I pull into my driveway, open my door and BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP! WTF?!?!?! This friggen alarm is pissing me off. This is not the first time this has happened either. It seems to happen only if I unlock the doors and take more than 10 seconds or so to open a door. Do I seriously need to open a door within 2 seconds of hitting unlock? Anybody else have this problem? Fixes?

Thanks for helping me out! My neighbors really appreciate it...probably helping them keep rhythem while bumping uglies...:romp_69r:

Do you have an aftermarket alarm system? That happened to me when I unplugged my battery... unbeknownst to me, the factory alarm reset to the locked state, and everytime I used a function on my aftermarket alarm, the factory one would go nuts.

I have been throwing a CEL lately because of my DP and MP install, so I have been disconnecting the battery to reset. But this also happened before the install of the DP and MP so I'm not sure thats the problem...

What mods have you done beyond the dp / mp?

Stereo? Sounds like a dealer fix to me... They probably won't be looking at exhaust because the stereo is messed up.

They'll blame it on the LEDs.... lol

Forrealz though, when I had LED turn signals and brake lights, they made the whole lighting system go nuts.

You should go to the dealer first, they probly will just swap in a brand new alarm system, if they don't, then I'd look for other options.

The car will relock itself after 30 seconds or so if you don't open the door after unlocking it with the remote. But since you are able to get in still that doesn't seem to be the case. Maybe something is malfunctioning causing the car to not detect you have opened the door and it's rearming the alarm once your inside for some reason.

Yeah...it really hurts my "sneaky-sleeper-smoker-spy" image I'm trying to portray...Oh well...I've had no problems if I just unlock the car when I'm about 5 feet away. I'll just continue to do that...
