I'm going to get this going early while the spring cruise is still fresh in everyone's mind!

What: MNMazda 2011 Fall Cruise
When: TBD (Saturday early fall)
Where: Mpls/StP -> Leinenkugels Brewery (Chippewa Falls, WI) via some scenic backroads
Why: what kind of a dumb question is that???
Who: Any member of MNMazda who wishes to attend (and non-members by invitation)


I think that about sums it up. They do free tours of the brewery (followed by free samples ) and it's a fun drive out there. So let's start throwing out some dates and get a list going! I would propose Sept 17 or 24 to avoid the labor day weekend and any back-to-school things that might be going on.

I'd like to setup an overnight cruise one of these days, but I'm thinking this will be a day trip.

Overnight trip to my cabin would be fun. Everyone invited! Plenty O room and plenty O stuff to do. I'll even put together a good cruise route and other arrangements if anyone were actually down.

Whereabouts is your cabin? If we could set up an overnight cruise without having to deal with paid lodging, I think that would be a little more realistic to put together at this point.

Lake Mille Lacs. I'm actually going this weekend and can post pictures to show the scene. I won't charge anyone a dime. I just think it would be fun with plenty of stuff like fishing and the beach, as we have a pretty good sized pontoon. Plenty of room to sleep probably 10 people. Otherwise there is volleyball/badminton nets, tv, poker, etc. about an hour and a half from the cities.

Yeah, it's not far enough away for me to stay overnight so unless I get bombed and need one of the passengers to drive my ass around I'll likely just make it a day trip.
