Mazdaspeed6 Clutch Fix TSB

Anyone aware of the clutch TSB?? I took my car in today, brookdale Mazda and asked one of the service guy there and he told me that it's not covered by warranty. I was like WTF, ok..i didn't want to be a smartass or anything but has anyone got there clutch replaced un der warranty?? If so, what Mazda dealer. BTW here is the link to the page.

If you can find a PDF of that or something with Mazda logos on it, print it off and bring it in. It says right at the bottom that any car under waranty should be covered.

DAMMIT...They didn't care about replacing my clutch under the warranty. Anyways, has anyone here lucky enough to get there replace under warranty?? If so, what dealer? Thanks

I think AJ had his ms6 done a few years ago under warranty, I'd pm him.

Did they deny you because your warranty is up, or just because they don't want to fix it?

It says specifically in the PDF: "This warranty information applies only to verified customer complaints on vehicles ELIGIBLE FOR WARRANTY REPAIR."

If you're out of warranty, they probably have the right to refuse you. I'd suggest taking it to another dealer though and see if they'll do it. Since you're first stop was brookdale, Morrie's is probably the next closest.

I had mine done at Brookdale with no questions asked. They did several local ones as well. Are you looking for the work on the TSB or for clutch replacement? I don't know if the TSB's come with a time frame, recalls definatly do not, but this was not a recall.

Yes, I was looking at the work on the clutch TSB. What did you tell them? Did you have to pay for it too, if it's under the TSB???

I went in, asked about the TSB, they told me what section my car was under (there are 2 parts) and I got everything replaced for free (including clutch and such).
