Ideas For The Site - Lets Hear 'Em!

Since we have some people logging onto the site, I want to open this thread up to ideas people have for the site. I know people want to see certain content or options. So, if you have something in mind that you would really like to see happen with this site, now is the time to throw it out there.

I know we are just getting things rolling, but it may be easiest to make SOME of these adjustments early in the going. If you have a thought or idea, throw it out there...

I think that it'd be cool to have custom titles like on mazda3forums. F1 driver and the like. Maybe a photo gallery, and an announcement at the top of the page where the whole thing is noting the newest meet thread. Good way to get more meet exposure.

Couple things in the works that I hope to have up tomorow.

-Arcade. What forum is complete without one. :)
-Timeslip database. To display all the 1/4 love.
-Gallery (I'll see which version is out, should be up tomorrow)

Other that than, yeah, for the members, by the members. I'm all for people taking people by the horns and coming up with something to present. If the majority are down, lets roll with it.

The biggest thing we need, members. RX7 and RX8 owners, more 3 and 6 owners, and maybe a few hot soccer moms roll'n in a CX7. WOOT!

We also have a few free lance graphic design students with ideas for logos and shit.

About the only thing I'd hang myself over would be a thread about putting some fucking wing on a van. Otherwise, we be good.

we need to advertise son. lol. perhaps some of you would like to tag along to an mnsportcompacts gathering, perhaps some mazda people out there...
i haven't been to one in a long time.

i'd be down for weekly meets too, buffalo wild wings or something similar, i don't know. just an excuse to get out.

I know that AJ and I are both members of the MNSC. I dont know how they would feel about a post pimpin' the site. But, as for meetings, feel free to spread the word at MNSC meetings as I dont think that would be an issue.

Also, feel free to start a thread on this forum for a weekly event or meeting you might like to see. Depending on how large we get, we could have regional meetings like MNSC. For now, it would be nice to put some faces with names.

Thats a solid idea, I will get something started on that later tonight. I will talk to AJ and Nate figure out some good method and see what we can do for prizes and what-not. Good idea though.

It won't go in the slideshow, as that would actually take awya from the theme, but I think a main page feature on it, that links to a dedicated page would be a solid move. The only downfall of doing that now, we have a limited amount of active members so after a few months, it will just die out.
