Hypertech + SRI = :D

I've been running the Hypertech tune for a month. But, I just installed a Corksport intake and reflashed the computer with a tune dialed in for the CS SRI. These two products really compliment each other. I am now consistantly seeing peak boost of low 19's and holding low 17's. Power stays on until redline and I've also removed the 0-60 throttle position limiter. Everything is improved. If you don't plan to do much more to your car than an intake, BPV, and maybe cat-back exhaust, this is an idiot-proof tune I recommend.

Very nice. Post a pic of under the hood I want to see how it looks. That is my old forge still right?

I can take a pic later today. It's not much to look at since I went with all black parts.

You must have me confused with someone else. I bought my Forge new.

Hey Coldspeed, where you located? Just curious. I just picked up the CS intake myself (also all black). Would be cool to see someone else with one. Also would be interested in seeing how your car handles with some of your other mods. A lot of suspension stuff it looks like. All I have is the CS intake, CPE RMM, and Jbarone Shift plate. Be cool to see the difference the Hypertek makes over my OEM tune too.

What made you go with the Hypertech over the AP or Standback? The support for those is insane...are those Hypertech's dirt cheap? Can it datalog and monitor PID's?

I have no other plans for engine mods. The Hypertech is a good reliable tune for dumbies with a very noticable difference in performance. No, it doesn't have all those features like the AP, but it's about $200 cheaper. It is too easy to f-up your engine if you don't know what you're doing when you have access to lots of engine parameters. Plus, after reading countless threads on various forums, I don't believe this engine can handle much more HP than stock. Something is gonna give. Since this is my daily driver, I'll stop here.

I've been taking it easy to let my new ACT clutch break in. But, last Friday was a nice crisp 60° day and I figured it was time to stomp on it. I ripped off a 4.72 0-60 time on the Dashhawk. :)
