does anyone wanna be some money on hockey??? i was thinking everyone that plays could chip in like 5 bucks, and we each pick a team, first come first choice, whos ever team they picked wins the stanley cup gets the jackpot. anybody intrested in this, if so i am my redwings. if everyone picks a team there is a chance of a $80 dollar jack pot, pretty nice imo

I know virtually nothing about the teams in the chase. I know I like to watch the Wild on TV and thats about it. I also have heard they have virtually no chance of winning the whole thing, so its like $5 down the tubes.

We don't have any issues filling seats at the games - I'd say we are pretty into it. Just beceause we dont want to bet on a game doesn't mean we dont follow our team or enjoy watching it.

Besides this is illegal.

And if you want to know why MN is the state of hockey watch the high school hockey tournament. Then, watch the tournament in any other state in the country.

Not to mention the fact the the UoM, MSU: Mankato and MSU: Duluth ALL have excellent college hockey teams.

I'll do $5 per series? start out with the series that are tied? I'll take calgary and minnesota? 7th and 3rd ranked...you'd get the sharks/avs, then next round or if any teams tie up this round this would continue...get a running total through the playoffs. up to you? pay up at dyno day may 17th.

BETS ARE UP: $5 bucks per series...will continue throughout the playoffs.

laserblue has $5 on WILD, FLAMES, AND PREDITORS

IJ1889 has $5 on AVES, SHARKS, AND RED WINGS

So I'm in the hole to IJ1889 $10 because of the lame Wild and those pesky Red Wings, but the Flames won last nigh! forcing game 7 and hopefully putting $5 back in my pocket.
