Gauging Interest: SEMA 2008, Las Vegas?

I have been invited to go to SEMA this fall by a local hot rod club. It was also suggest that I bring a few of my "buddies" along, if I knew anyone interested. I guess once we'd go this year, we'd be able to organize or co-organize our own groups to go each year.

Everything has been planned this year: seeing some private collections of hot rods, SEMA, tickets to NHRA racing, van rental, hotel and air fare for a tad under $900 (plus whatever fuel charges) along with splitting the gas bill for the van you ride in.

I'm trying to see how serious people would be about going. I'm not sure the exact deadline is, but I think it's some time in June to be signed up. I may not go myself, $1000 can also buy some much need mods.

Damn son, too bad i'll never have 1000$ to make this happen in time, I had already posted a thread starting this idea like 3 months ago. DO WANT.

Yeah this year is out, I'm going Snowboarding out west this winter if I have any available monies. I would eventually like to make it out there though.
