I am currently with Verizon (and have been for 4+ years). I pay about $65/month for 2 lines, 600 shared minutes, TV/Vcast/Mobile Web on 1 line, and unlimited in calling / text messaging. Thats with a 20% discount.

Reason I have stayed with Verizon is I feel their coverage is next to none, and a lot of my friends have verizon (which equals free calls) The coverage is getting much better with other carriers now, so I think that advantage is shrinking a bit. I almost switched to Cingular because of rollover. As far as billing, the only time ive ever had a problem is changing plans, twice they screwed the bill up, but when I called everything was fixed right away, and I never had a problem after. Ive only had to call a couple times for support (picture messaging stopped working) and they were quick and polite about fixing the problem.

I think what carrier is 'best' will vary based on what is important (lots of minutes, huge coverage, great text/data plans, cool phones, etc)

110 HP of FURY!
Verizon, I'll have to look for the specs of the plan. We've been with them since we moved to MN 9 years ago. I've also worked with their systems first hand (from their software the everyday CSR reps use, to their VRU systems and tower info). Hands down the best cell service in the state, and will be for some time.

Same deal, same package, different phone. Love it. Been with Tmo since it was still Voicestream.

2-line family plan with 400 minutes and unlimted nights/weekends - $50

Don't give a crap about extras since I only use it to make calls. Surprisingly we can get away with 400 minutes and no landline.

Sprint - 2 lines 550 anytime - $60

Best part is nights start at 7pm so we never get close to using all the minutes. Almost never get a dropped call and great coverage.
