I'M OFFENDED!
I've seen them on newer 3 sedans, and they look amazing. I imagine they will do the same for your car.

Oooh, they are gorgeous! Thank you for the pics!
Oh btw, what is the size inch wise? Like, I think my MP has stock 16"?

18x7 with a 52 offset. They will fit the protege. They are thinner then the rx8 rims so less chance of rubbing also, but idk if you are lowered.

18x7 will fit, but you're probably going to have to use rubber bands for tires in order to keep the overall diameter the same. What size tires do you have right now?

I don't have my car lowered at all...and if I remember right I've got 205/50/16s right now. At least my front ones are, they're Kumho Ecsta ASX tires.

Yeah, so if you want to use these wheels, I wouldn't go smaller than a 215 tread width, since that's the stock tire size. That means you'll be looking at a 35 series tire to keep the same overall diameter. That's a pretty thin tire, but not ridiculously so. You'll have no problem fitting them on your car, but you are starting to look at pricier tires and a rougher ride due to the low sidewall profile. It will also tend to exaggerate the wheel gap a bit.

I'm by no means trying to dissuade you from buying them, just throwing out a couple things to consider.

Yea they are a lot more expensive. Thank you for all the info! That's really helpful. I don't know a ton about tires etc but I'm starting to learn more. :)

yea I would see what size tire people are running on rx8 rims and then decide what tire to get for these. I think they would look pretty sweet on a protege, depending on the color of your car, painting them would look sweet too.
