Android vs. Blackberry?

Have to say AT&T buying T-Mo is going to be much worse for us consumers then a Sprint and T-Mo deal. We would have had three large, fairly equal competitors, now we will only have two. Won't be good for our wallets or phone selection. I hope this deal gets blocked.

You aren't the only one. I'm already looking to bail... assuming the merger happens. I refuse to deal with ATT's customer service. REFUSE. I'll go to Verizon before I let that happen. Sucks, because I've been with Tmo for 10 years+.... since before they were Tmo.

if you look and read everything if the merger fails at&t owes big bucks to T-mo and gives out spectrum to them and signs roaming agreements.. so technically I think deutsch telecom thought of it as a win win. get rid of a sinking ship and get tons of money back.. or keep the ship and get tons of money and parts to make the ship hopefully float again.

The one saving grace is that DT is getting an 8% stake in ATT also, so maybe they'll have some sway over how bad ATT sucks.

I wonder though, if they have $40,000,000,000 lying around to by T-Mo, why the F couldn't they have spend more money over the past 5 years improving their network?

Easier to give CEO's jets than to put americans to work putting up towers? iono. I know a LOT of their network problem has to do with the pwn they experienced when the iPhone hit. No one was expecting their data transfers to go nearly as huge as they did..... and that crushed em. They've been playing catch up ever since, and what really sucks, is now they've done away with unlimited data. If they try and make Tmo do that ish if and when they merge, I'll go to fuckin Sprint if I have to lol.

I'm trying to go work at Best Buy corp. or any other job for that matter... I sort of want to get out of retail, but we do get money for staying around so I guess either way it's a win win for me.
