From afar, it's easy to mistake the CX-7 for Mazda's larger, more expensive CX-9 - not a bad thing at all. It's even somewhat enjoyable to drive, thanks to reasonably direct steering with good feedback.</p><br /> Photo Gallery: <a href="/reviews/editors_notebook/0910_2010_mazda_cx7_i_sv/index.html">2010 Mazda CX7 i SV - Mazda Crossover SUV Review - Automobile Magazine</a><br /><br /> Photo Gallery: <a href="/reviews/editors_notebook/0910_2010_mazda_cx7_i_sv/index.html">2010 Mazda CX7 i SV - Mazda Crossover SUV Review - Automobile Magazine</a><br /><br /><br /><div><a href="http://www.automobilemag.com/reviews/editors_notebook/0910_2010_mazda_cx7_i_sv">Read More</a> |

Now with an optional non-turbo engine?! Hmm, didn't see that one coming.

I wonder if Ford may not be building a version of the next Tribute, so they need a base version to cover that end of the market.

I actually hope that's the case; have you seen the current-gen Tribute (and Escape)? The interior is cheeeeeeeeaaaaaaaap.

In the very least, Mazda will be dropping the B-series trucks pretty soon (they have to, since production on the Ranger will stop), which were also vehicles that never really fit into their lineup.

Didn't Ford drops it's ownership share of Mazda from something like 33% to 20%?
