It's been precisely one year to the day since we first reviewed the 2009 Toyota Venza. Because of the jacked-up chassis, I don't think "wagon" applies either, and the body is more hatchback-like in the cases on the Venza and this Crosstour, and the originator of this class, the Nissan Murano. It really is a hybrid between a car and a car-based SUV, and so I think "crossover" is likely correct.
