Hello fellow mazda enthusiasts!!!

I have been on this forum for a little while but was never active cause I had a Job that required me to be out of state for some time. I am back and want to interact with the local car community again so here it is.

I live in the small town of annandale (near St.cloud and clearwater) about an HR away from the cities on hwy55 west of plymouth.

I bought a 2008 Mazdaspeed 3 as a daily driver two years back and have never had time to put anything into it. I also have a 91 mr2 turbo for the weekends and a couple other cars and toys I have stowed away. This year I plan to do some moding on the MS3 but I want to keep it as warranty friendly as possible being that it has a lifetime warranty on all powertrain components provided through an offer I got by the EICH motor company.

I have put very few miles on the car since I mostly drive it in the summers.

Ill be on this site a little more often now and I hope I get to meet you guys this summer!

BTW kinda out of topic but I can not get my Avatar or signature to work. It keeps saying that I do not yet have the permission to do so. IDK maybee this introduction post will allow me to! I am not new to forums and I know how to use them. Im on mnsc and so many others. As soon as I get this problem figured out I will post some pics.

welcome, i was in st cloud for 3 years while going to school and had dealings with EICH the last year i was there. Awesome dealer IMHO, especially the parts guy....who's name i have forgotten.

Where do you live now? Hmm You must be talking about Carl,Theron, or Peter. Yeah the staff at Eich are amazing. Very friendly and look after you. Unlike alot of other dealers that just take your money and hit the hills these guys really take concern on what you would like and answer questions on what you might want to do and such.

Also I was suprised to find out that they also follow the performance market.
I talked Eichs marketing manager Andrew a few weeks back. And found out that these guys are really in tune to what our car culture is like and what we modern day speed junkies are looking for in the modern day market.

Hence therefore Andrew and Randy the last two weeks have been hard at work trying to sponsor my car. They are still waiting for word at Mazda to see if they will help with the bill.

Eich wants to push the envelope that there is a car dealer out there that can customize there efforts to meet there customers needs. Weather tunner or Just someone that wants to get from point a to b, Eich and Mazda are really trying hard to reach out. Thought I would help them out!!! Ill keep you guys posted on what happens with that!
So what do you normally drive in winter and other less-than-pleasant times? Just curious.

Yup!!! a Nissan pathfinder for winters and work. Its big,bulky,but has 4WD wich helps with the traction on the snow and mudding in the spring! Though I barely ever throw it into 4WD. Its got great all terrain tires on it!

actually, i wanna say his name was jason. it would've been spring of 08 the last time i visited there. if eich had lower priced cars, i deff would've bought my car from them vs polar mazda/chev.

lol my cars are not that exciting! Well to me they are but they should be to the owners eyes.lol Besides I am only a few more posts away from annoying you guys with my lame pics and signatures!;)

Yeah Jason is at the front desk.I thought you were talking about the mechanics. So you are not in st.cloud anymore? Where you at now?
