I've sold my 2008 Mazda3 and never ended up installing the new plush replacement interior carpet. Selling for $200. Make your interior brand new again, and it'll be quieter as well. PM me if interested.
Yeah, car starters on vehicles that are typically in gear when parked means you hit start and your vehicle slams into whatever is in front or behind it (even if it's that one time you forget to park it in neutral with the e-brake on). This is why reputable places won't do it.
What mndsm said. Hot sunny day and everything will peel right off. Wash, clay bar and polish/wax/sealant and you're good to go! This was one of the first things I did to my car and I still look down on stock door strips whenever I pull up next to another 3 at a stop light...lol
Welcome to the site! Sadly, this site is a bit of shell of what it once was, but there's some whispers of a revival of activity in the year to come. There are a handful of folks on here willing to field any questions you might have. If there's anything in particular you're interested in...
Ground the throttle body, add a CAI or SRI and a K&N air filter. If you have the cash for a free flowing exhaust, that might help a little too, but you aren't going to get a whole lot of power out of it without adding a turbo etc, which is a lot more money. Buy an MS3 if you want fast.
