I'm pretty sure I'll be running. I was looking at the website last night and I've got no idea how to register. Can someone clue me in. Do I register at the track or in advance?

I could bring up to 3 other people with me.

Rock falls is about 2 hours east of the cities just south of Eau Claire on hwy 94. I've been there once before and it's not too bad of a ride.

Yeah, you just show up at the track. You will pay an entrance fee when you arrive. Then you find a spot in the pits, drop your gear, and off to tech for inspection. You will have no issues with tech as your car will not be running below 11.99. Once you pass tech inspection, they will number your car and you can either head back to the pits or up to the staging lanes for racing.

Typically you get three "trial" passes before the bracket racing begins. Then, depending on how well you do in bracket, you will get another 2-6 races. Also, if you lose quickly in bracket, they have a consulation bracket. You are pretty much guaranteed 5-6 passes with the possibility of many more.

On a side note, you want to arrive very early if you want a good spot in the pits. We used to leave the cities about 7am if I recall correctly. Otherwise, if you dont care where you are in the pits, head out whenever. I like the early morning passes as the temp is cool for the IC.

Thanks for the info!

So who else is heading up there this Sunday? We should figure out a time and place to meet. I'm thinking 6:30AM in Woodbury somewhere near 94.

I'd like to go, I will know in a couple days if I can make it out or not. Meeting somewhere in Woodbury on 94 is a great idea, If there is a target or something out that way, or something else with a big parking lot near the freeway that'd be ideal.

Oh what is the cost to race for this event?

FYI- on the SC days the time trials start at 9 am and depending on how many people show up, you just keep lining up til 1 pm rolls around and they start the elimination rounds. The April SC day I got 11 runs in BEFORE eliminations.
