Watched The A-Team last night, thought it was great.

Ooh yeah... The A-Team is great.
The Losers: Similar to the A-Team, not as good, but still worth a watch.
The Expendables: Gun porn, and worth the time... oh yeah.

got around to watching Kick-Ass tonight, was pretty enjoyable, and a little bit more bloody then the usual superhero movie due to the fact that Hit Girl put a bullet in (or sliced & diced) every bad guy she came across. But definitely recommended, 4/5*

Saw "True Grit" with Jess in the theater and it was alright....typical Coen brothers film, if you know what I mean. Also saw "The American" starring George Clooney on DVD and thought it was HORRIBLE! If I had to watch the entire movie again, or be put through some sort of mild torture for a half hour, I'd srsly give the torture option some thought. The only bright spot was the most-excellent frontal nudity from hit no-name-hottie whore.

Watched Dinner for Schmucks last night, wtf was that.... lol had it's very funny parts, but could not get through it again if I tried.

saw SuckerPunch tonight (friend works for AMC theatres, got into the IMAX for free ) and I have to admit it wasn't that bad of a movie. If you liked the style from Watchmen & 300, it's more of the same, this time we see Babydoll (Emily Browning) trying to escape from a mental institution that she was thrown in by her a-hole of a stepfather. She hatches a plan to escape with the help of Amber (Jamie Chung), Rocket (Jena Malone), Blondie (Vanessa Hudgens), and Sweet Pea (Abbie Cornish).

The visual effects were top notch (notably the dragon & the 'Happy Bunny' mech), the soundtrack was very enjoyable (Sweet Dreams as sung by Ms. Browning herself!) and the action sequences were pretty damn good. Even the girl that i went with was impressed with it, she didn't think that she would like it at all, after is was over she changed her tune and noted that i made a wise choice.

Plus who doesn't enjoy seeing 5 girls kicking ass?

I like the references to 300 or watchmen. I really want to see this one IMAX'd.

Easy A - Very interesting story about high school and how rumors can change someone's perception of you. Also about how doing a good deed, but doing it in a unsavory manner doesn't work out.

Interesting story, wasn't to bad.. I would give it 3/5 stars. Mainly a chick flick but that's what I get to watch most of the time with when you have a gf.

Don't do it. 20% on rotten tomatoes. 35 on metascore. Zack Snyder can make impressive visuals, but he can't create a story...or characters...or a good movie. He's a poor man's Michael Bay.

If by girly you mean girl ON girl, then yes. Oh and Coyote Ugly. I don't know why. Maybe it's the heartwarming story, or maybe it's that you get hot chicks dancing on a bar and get to see whats her face nekkid in the DVD version.

I wouldn't really even call Easy A a chick flick. It's just funny. Thumbs up.

Same director did Fired Up! which is funny too. Great dialogue.

A friend got this for Christmas and borrowed it to me - fantastic, this is really good. I'm on the last disk and its just an all around excellent production. Seriously well time spent. Hi def, 55" plasma, sub etc...rocks.

"The Pacific" Blu-ray box sets were going for around $35 before Christmas last year. I might just have to pick it up, since it would go with my "Band of Brothers" box set.

Saw "Faster" with Duane "The Rock" Johnson. It was alright, but I'm glad I only spent a dollar to see it...lol
