The App Thread

So since having items with both Android (phone) and Itune (ipad) for use I figured I'd start a thread to colelct what everything thinks is the worth checking out for each. If you list on just identify it with which one it falls under and why you like it or maybe don't like it.

Android Market: Tank Hero - Free - It's a fuck game that uses a dpad function on the screen that plots you tank versus other tanks. I like it as a quick escape and not something that requires daily use to keep a game going.

Itunes: Trade Nations - Free - Love this game. Similar to the WeFarm and WeRule stuff, but imho, better with more stuff to actually do. This is a solid game for the games you can play a little bit each day.

All of these are going to be for Android:

Games
Angry Birds - This game is teh fun
AirControlLite - Another fun game where you have to control / land multiple aircraft without them running into each other

Utilities
Clockr - Text based clock app that I <3
Launcher Pro Plus - Great launcher app for android, I've used a few and it's been my favorite.
WidgetLocker - Lets you put widgets, icons, etc on your lock screen, I'd be lost without this.
AudioManager Pro - Let you create sound 'profiles' for things like work, driving, sleep, etc that change all the volumes and such at the click of a button/icon
AppsOrganizer - Lets you create 'groups' of apps / folders.
Barcode Scanner - Does what it says
SwitchPro - Gives you a nice widget for quickly turning things on and off like LED light, wireless, bluetooth, gps, screen brightness, etc
TeslaLED - Great LED Flashlight App
Zedge - Wallpapers and Ringtones IIRC
Shazam - Tells you what a song is by listening to the song/lyrics

Kare11, KSTP, and USA Today for news infoz

Those are the ones I can think of off the top of my head that aren't Root / DroidX specific.

Maybe you should uninstall the "XXX Autocorrect" app. rofl

I like Call of duty zombies for both the iPad and iPhone. Mutliplayer too!

Lookout is a good app for that, I have the free version on my phone, which will GPS locate it as long as the handset is on.
