Damn... I wanted to see it, but that's a cheap mani!

Ahh, looks like they moved the GI thread to the marketplace section. Well, that's what you get for being a msf doosher. lol

And yes, it is cheap. But the only other manis are either discontinued or about 2x as much (steedspeed). And AFAIK, the steedspeed has never actually been show to have gains over anything else. The v1 Thunder mani had serious issues with cracking... v2 was better but not perfect... For the money, I'm going to assume 3rd time's a charm.

Looks...average.

I'm sure it'll do fine for your application. Steedspeed's is really 2x as much huh? That's crazy. He was basically shunned from MSF for his v.1 but stuck with it, listened to the criticisms and suggestions, and created a v.2 along with a top-mount turbo option and is now heading up the fabrication work for an intake manifold. Dude's really making a name for himself and his products are now working as intended. He's a good cat - and rather than give up he stuck with it and the community advances that much farther.

Yar. His MSP mani goes for $799. Though it looks like streetunit currently has it for $699.

Much like most MSP parts, there just hasn't been any real proof that it's worth the extra dough. It's blingy and virtually indestructible (but I'm not building a show car here). The stock parts are just extra junky, so any decent aftermarket piece frees up power... same goes for intakes, exhaust, SMIC upgrades...

Totally hear ya. Not to mention, as long as the welds are good you'll be just fine, which is probably the reason the v.1's were cracking. I can't imagine 10-12 psi doing any damage unless they're using some super-thin steel.
