Free muffler

I have a 2.5" inlet flowmaster muffler that from a custom catback that was on my car when I bought it.... it's yours free if you want it. I'm not so sure I'd call it a "good" muffler tho.... lol

Single or dual outlet? Whats the outlet size? high-flow straight thru muffler?

Was just going to add that anything would work better than when I had is straight-piped. That sounded horrible.

Single outlet... pretty sure it's 2.5", though I've never measured. I don't think it's a straight through muffler, since the inlet and outlet are offset slightly.

Where are you located, or when could I come check it out/pick it up?

I work in chaska and live in north minneapolis near robbinsdale. I'm also at porky's almost every week. Other than that, I'm home most evenings by 6 and most weekends all day.

I can double-check the measurements when I get home tonight if you're interested.

EDIT- yep it's 2.5" inlet and outlet. I've also got some assorted chunks of 2.5" steel pipe that used to be the catback.... you're welcome to any of those pieces as well.

Well first here I'm going to see if my current muffler can be repaired when i get the axle-back fitted, and if it cant Ill definitely have to grab yours. Or when my brother gets back in town this week I know he wants a new muffler.

well i may want it as well i have to check the pipe measurement on mine... how is the the noise level?

Hard to say, since the exhaust piping leaked in at least one spot. Not really quiet though.... lol

I can verify, it wasn't sooper loud, but not terribly quiet... sounded ok for being bolted to janky leaky pipes.

Still have this thing laying around in my garage, along with some chunks of 2.5" pipe... I'd rather have someone come pick it all up for free than figure out how to sell it as scrap!
