*COMPLETED* - Oct 11 - MNmazda Fall Beer Cruise

I'm probably not going. I could care less about the actually brewery (been there already, love the beer....but can't drink it anyway right now). And spending that much time in a car isn't my idea of a fun weekend right now.

So... south route B?

I'm still up for giving anyone a ride if they'd want to pitch in for gas. I live in shakopee and could pick ya up along the way or we could be someplace.

yeah, unless anyone has any objections, it's looking like south route B is the winar. For the drive back, we could consider one of the north routes for people who have the time, or else just rock 94 if you're in a hurry.

So far I'm thinking about setting the departure time at 8:30am, and then making our tour reservations for 2pm, which should give us plenty of time to get down there and have some lunch. If necessary, people could be back home by 4:30-5pm, or anyone who wants to do a little more driving would be home by 6:30-7pm.

How's that all sound?

I also now have room for a passenger if anyone wants to ride along.

It's not too late to sign up if you want to come along as a driver or a rider!

A couple logistical questions:

Does anyone have a radar detector?

Also, does anyone have GPS who'd be willing to plot the route and help keep us on course?

Nice long cruise on saturday and then a good car detailing on sunday. Sounds like it couldn't get much better than that!

I've got a Valentine1 that the lead car can certainly use (it ain't gonna be me in my Mz3...lol), but I'm not sure how to plot a route out ahead of time on the wife's GPS. If I play around with it a bit and figure out how to make it happen I'll let you know. We'll be on the scenic route on the way there, but it'll be bombing straight home afterward.

The iPhone's google maps isn't as flexible as the full online version (no editing of routes) so I'll have to set it up in advance if we end up using my phone. I can just add a few temp contacts with rough address of where we are going and I can probably get it to work.
