Beastiva is go!

Yeah, with the kind of practice i've had, bopping the bishop does not cause this type of malady.

I never would have said it would turn out as nice as it did.

Kudos guys and if i ever get a beater you can flame it all you want.

Tom would say otherwise, but I'm extremely happy with the end result. One final touch will be to hand-brush in a silver pinstripe on the flames, to clean up the edges.

I will say otherwise. Next time i'm springing for a better roll of tape. That is what held me back on this one. Need that fancy quarter inch blue shit that's like a million dollars a roll. Overall I do think it's cool, I just think it could be better.

Really... Why is that crap so expensive?

Cause they can charge that because automotive customisers charge so effin much for a paintjob. Next time Jay, we shall do better.

Yeah, considering we did up my entire car with half a roll of the thin stuff (the stuff we use to backfill doesn't matter much) it's not that expensive.

Did the paint apply pretty evenly? I can't really tell from the pix.
What kind of paint did you use?

RUSTOLEUM BITCH! lol...

The flat black body is a little bit splotchy, and there's some texture to the hood from some shit that settled while we were painting (sanding? who the hell sands??) But it's not bad in person.

I bet the next one we do will be twice as good though, even with the same supplies

I think that rustoleum flat black was the wrong paint to use. It was paint, not primer. Next time, we use real primer.

Did you sand the body before you started? Wonder if that would help for next time......?

Yeah, surface prep consisted of scrubbing down the body with some scotch-brite pads and dish soap. If rust-oleum won't stick to that, I don't know what it WILL stick to.

LOL... no, I need to buy her a kitten (or seven) before I get an okay on that mod
What are you trying to order from Canada behind my back? Am I gonna start having to ask for receipts for Beastiva projects so I can keep tabs on you? Heh.

I tried to catch you a stray cat at my apartment, however I failed.
Josh, it can't be just ANY cat. It's gotta be one of the following: toyger, bengal, miscellaneous "exotic bred" kitties (subject to approval, as I know how devious you guys can be), and/or hypoallergenic. Mwahahaha~

Tom, stop being so hard on yourself. Even though I was jokingly giving you guys crap about it by being all "nit-picky" I do think it looks really cool. Especially after you get the silver outlines done around on the flames, it's going to look bad-ass!
