Wheel Spacers

So i like the stock rims. Or well i should say the rims are on the bottom of my "to-do" list. But i love the euro look i guess. Anyone have insight on this? I like to see a little flared tire like a deep dish rim not the ghetto idiot shit some people do.

well, it's going to be tricky to get a true deep dish rim on the speed3 without rocking a widebody kit... that's just how it goes with high-positive offset FWD cars.

Maybe post a few pics showing the specific features you like and people can make recommendations. Generally speaking, throwing wheel spacers on there may help fill out the wheel well a bit, I don't know if it's going to help you get the look you're going for.

Given, its not on the right car.. this guy has 25mm wheel spacers. And damn does it look amazing.

I just want a little flare. I haven't been able to find a good pic of a hatch because alot of time people go overboard.

25mm may be enough to throw off the suspension geometry on stock wheels, and would almost surely require you to get your fenders pulled. My wheels are 10mm lower offset than stock (equivalent of throwing 10mm spacers on) and I can already tell that the suspension feels a teensy bit off.

i don't mean to rain on your parade or anything... It just all boils down to performance trumping looks for me, so I feel the need to throw those cautions out. ;)

I guess I don't get why you want the wheels out farther with the same rim. I don't see that making it look very different at all. And like Jay said it will throw off your performance for no good reason.

Wheel spacers are not a god idea on these cars. People are already finding they can't go much beyond 10mm further out and you want your wheels out even farther?

For sure, I dream of a flock of hotties caressing my body while power shifting through third in my 350hp halfbreed, there's nothing wrong with that.
