what lowering springs to get

i've got money burning a hole in my paypal account, and i've decided that it will be smarter to buy new tires for my 18' wheels instead of buying tires for the stock 17's and then possibly needing to buy 17' winter tires next season.

my two options right now (used and fairly cheap) are:
Tein Htech's
and
Tanabe Nf210

both drop the front about 1.5' and the rear .75' and i still have the opportunity to get either one for around $140.

i was looking at the tanabe gf/nf210's before and am thinking they are my best bet. however, the gf's drop the car ~1.2' all around which may be too much in the rear.

thoughts/advice?

How does buying tires for 18" wheels = having money for springs? I r cornfused.

That said, I dunno anything about mz6 springs...

We're still talking a Mazda6, right?

I'm dropped over an inch front and rear. 1.2" should not be too much.

I would also much rather have an even drop all around than have my car's ass stuck up in the air.

AFAIK, i can't use paypal money at DT or anyplace like that. hence the having money for springs. its more of an investment now since the stock wheels need new tires and i plan on going to 18' wheels this summer anyways. the springs come in because bigger wheels=bigger wheel to fender gap.

yes james, i have another 6. but, since the 6 has a bigger wheel gap in the front and smaller in the rear, that's the reason for having a smaller drop in the rear to keep the car more level looking.

that being said, what are you on james?

Does Swift have an option for your car? I have Swift Spec-R springs and love them, I know a couple people with the regular Swifts and they like them the best of all the other springs they've tried.

Having the wheel gaps equal does not necessarily equal more level looking. I look more at where the body lines end up.

That said, I'm on HKS Hipermax LS+ coilovers.
