What Detailing Clay to use?

Looking for recommendations (ahem...Nate) on brands/types of clay to use and any online vendors with good prices. I did a search and there's a lot out there brand-wise and I also noticed Meguiars had different types like "mild" or "aggressive."

Appreciate the help.

Funny, I was just researching clay bars right this moment. I'm curious as well--there are a bunch of products, all at a similar price point.

All clay is the same... no shit it is all the same stuff there was a lawsuit and the company got a patent on it. So no matter what clay you get it is all the same. So I say get the stuff that is cheap and i have the stuff from autopia and like it.

I went to checkers and picked up Mother's Clay bar. Came with a bottle of quick detailer too for about $14ish I think.
Worked amazing on a 2001 Celica that has only seen machine car washes for its whole life.
Plus the quick detailer smells like cinnamon.
Haven't tried anything else so I can't say it was "better than", but it worked for me.

I do like the smell of that mother's quick detailer! The clay bar is kind of smallish though....

Anyway, I have seen little difference as well between brands. I also like the smell of the Mothers spray detailer, but it's streaky. I like Zymol's the best, but I use whatever's cheap for claying.

Found a pretty decent deal on some claybars: 2x 100g Sonus claybars for $12.99!

Might have to stock up myself....

I finally broke down and spent half a day using a clay bar on my car. Cleaned all the crap off and the beast shines sweet and is nice and smooth again. I got a the Meguiars shit.
