slicks or drag radials

Anyone have any idea where I could get two cheap steelies to throw some 245 drag radials or slicks on? I was thinking a stock three steelie, but then that would be way to narrow. Hell I probably wont ever buy them anyway, but just so I know!

I would go with some drag radials if you ever plan on wearing them on the street. Just less harrassment from any cops and a little wet traction if it ever rains. Otherwise, if they will be strictly track use, get true racing slicks.

Jesse, let me know if you want to make a run to John's auto parts. I'd also be interested to see what they have.

Do they even make steelies in 16x8s?

I'm guessing MS3 offset is the same as 6. So, stock offset is +55 and most people can run down to +45 offset with most tires and fender roll.

I'M OFFENDED!
You can get the steelies on tirerack.com for winter meatz, so I imagine Johns auto will have them. I'd be interested in going there myself sometime.
