Shop Recommendation For Tire Mounting

I live in the north metro. Lino Lakes, Blaine, Forest Lake area. Can anyone recommend (from experience) a decent shop in this area to have new tires mounted on after-market rims? I do not want to take my business to Discount Tire as they want way too much to mount/balance ($25/tire).

I want to make sure the place I bring them to will take care with everything as I do not want to get back my rims and find scratches, improperly torques lugs, etc.

I know you said you don't want to use Discount tire, and yes I agree their price is high but look at the machines they use. Those Hunter (I think that's the name) setups are fuck'n awesome, especially for getting 100% love for wheels.

It's going to be hard to find a place to get it done for any less, especially when you didn't buy the wheels or tires from the same place. If you call around find out what they are using for equipment. If they use shit similar to what a Discount Tire uses then you should be ok. But I pay Discount Tire prices for the sole reason that I know my shit comes back perfect (at least at the location I go to, Rogers)

There is a place called tires for less It is off Osborne and hwy65. This place looks like it would be a good spot to bring your car. They have a lot of wheel and with a very high price tag (not cuz they are not high priced it cuz the wheel are that nice). Try there.

You get what you pay for...

Seriously, though, I used to live up there, and I didn't see a place I would recommend that's less expensive. When I shopped for winter tires, I shopped around, and found anything that I would actually take my car to was similar.

its 12/tire for mount and dismount.
25 doesn't sound right, but discount does use the best equipment.

It's 25 a tire at discount tire if you didn't buy the tires from them.

I did not buy the rims or tires from Discount. They did not carry what I wanted. I did however talk them down to $16 per tire to mount and balance. I did not have them mount the wheels on my car as I am a perfectionist and do not like having anyone touch my car if I do not have to.

Just a FYI. 17x8 SSR Comps wrapped in Yoko S-Drive 235/45/17's will require a complete rear fender roll. Does anyone know where to get a fender roll tool locally for cheap. Buy, rent, borrow, etc. If not, has anyone tried the 2x4 technique and/or baseball bat with success?
