question bout tires

So, its time for new summer shoes. What i have now is aftermarket wheels (18 x 7.5) wrapped in 215/45. Now i wana fill my gap a little and kinda wana go wider also, using the handy little rims and tires web page previously posted on this site i played around with sizes and this is what i came up with, 225/50, the guide says it will still fit the wheels and will funk up the speedo by 3mph- but not a big deal. Comments or concerns with doing an increase like this. any other recomendations, any help is greatly appreciated!http://www.rimsntires.com/specs.jsp

a 225/50 would work really well, or go slightly wider to a 235/45 would end up roughly the same....... depending on your offset on the a/m wheels you might have a bit of a rub... but other than that, you should be golden.
