Possibly looking at getting a Mazda 3

After the ball and chian and I tie the knot she is looking into replacing her '01 Prisim with a new Mazda 3. It will not be the Speed3. And it will be an AT.

What should we really look at. Should be buy new vs used. With the amount on the roads and at dealers and for sale on the private side do we have extra price haggling room? Any underlying issues with the cars we need to be concerned with? Anyone who's owned one want to plead their case as to why we should get something else?

Yeah go new. The older models have had some issues that they have corrected for 07. Plus you get LED tails on a GT sedan now!

She doesn't want a hatch (5 door), but I think it looks pretty good and looks to have lots of room.

What can I say.... the internet brings out the immature 13-year old in me. Which is why it's so great that the internet is full of porn. Anyways, I'll release your thread from it's jacking and contribute.

The main reason I'd go new is that used 3's are in such high demand right now that you're not going to get much of a break unless it's a very used car. If that few thousand dollar difference is a sticking point, then it's a different story. But if you're talking about getting the most for your money, and 20k vs 16k isn't going to break the bank, then I think new is the way to go.

Plus we've all been trading them in lately, and you know what we all do to cars. Wanna risk the new one being one of ours?

AJ, I can say that I have been more than impressed with the car thus far. I would highly recommend the car to anyone looking at it for a DD. Lemme know if you have any questions at all.

Plus, the Mazda interest rate is too good to pass up right now.
