For $140-$150, is the Porter Cable 7428 a good buy?

The 7424 is the dual action one that is safe to use. The 7428 is gonna be dangerous.

I don't see a 7428 on their website... I see a 7424 and a 7336 SP which are both random orbit polishers, the 7336 is a little more powerful.

I never really knew the difference between the 7424 and the 7336 before. So how much more powerfull is it?

IIRC Nate has a 7336 and it is virtually identical to the 7424. Not sure if it is truly more powerful or not.

As stated before the 7428 is rotary and if you don't know what you're doing goodbye paint job.

The 7242 and 7336 are both DA. The only difference is the counter weight and with either 5 oz or 6 oz the thing shakes like crazy while using a foam polishing pad.
