Personal Finance software?

I'm looking to organize my finances with a tool like Quicken, anyone have any experiences, good bad or otherwise with this type of software?

I see that Quicken has a free tool online: http://quicken.intuit.com/quicken-online-features.jsp

I would hate to use something for financial purposes that's online and is not nuclear bomb proof... I'd rather pay a few extra bucks to keep it on my own computer...

I've used Quicken for home for the last 10 years. It's been great for me. (Not an online version though...)

I've used the quicken online.
It miss labeled quite a few of my payments and unless your reoccurring bills come through with the same name every time, I wasn't able to group them together.
Maybe I just need to spend some more time with it, but I wasn't a fan.

That's why I like the regular version of Quicken. It is much more user-friendly and you can do so much more with it. It's worth the money to get it, and you don't need to worry about "upgrades" each year...I only buy it every couple years if I see they've done some major improvements.

I took the plunge and am using quicken online, I like it so far, I can tell you I never want to eat out again! Dining expenses out of control...

LOL - sucks when you can see where you are actually spending all of your money, right? We found dining to be a big item for us as well, and one of the hardest to cut back on. :D

Best of luck - either way you'll enjoy the ease of Quicken.

BAM! check that out. My roommates use it, I would but they dont support my online bank yet. Watches your spending and can give you graphs and plans and all sorts of things. Its free and secure! POW

Nice one emeril! I'll check it out if Quicken falls through. Right now I'm having problems adding recurring bills such as utilities, etc...

Exactly my downfall with Quicken Online.
It was impossible to have to auto file/assume some of my reoccurring withdraws.
So at that point, how useful is it really to file everything manual each month?
