so i got my car all fixed now, the only thing left to do is paint the new bumper, does anyone have any experience painting and stuff like that, or a paint shop that wouldnt rape me in the price?

Seems like paint jobs are one of those things that you get what you pay for. I would not advise you DIY or you're going to end up with a crappy looking bumper. If you were good friends with someone who does it for a living, that's probably your best bang for the buck method. Otherwise, I got my hood and fender's painted at Sears Import Auto body shop. They do great paint jobs. They generally work on bimmers and benz's so you know what kind of paint they are used to seeing. They are not cheap though, it cost my insurance almost $500 for the paint job.
