New discussion and wheel options here: http://www.mnmazda.com/forum/showthread.php?t=3113

Alright so I've narrowed my wheel choice down, and I'm interested in what the MN Mazda community thinks. These are going on my TrueRed speed3. Option 3 was thrown in as an honorable mention, I'm leaning towards one of the first two.

Note - the text can/would be removed from the lip of the DC-5's

I would ultimatly want a combo of 1 and 2... the spokes of 1, the lip and center cap of 2...

Which is fairly close to what 3 is... so that's my vote.

It's a good thing I said "fairly close".

The hub is less of a concern than the number and pattern of the spokes. They both have 10 spokes, in groups of 2.

After a quick search, maybe this will help:

Tenzo DC-5s:

Tenzo Type Ms:

TSW Trackstars (crappy pics)

Upon further inspection of JT's pics. The DC-5s are a good choice, but I think I'd still go with the Trackstars, since the lip on the DC-5s is huge.

I vote Tenzo Type Ms.

I think wheels with more spokes tend to look better on the MS3.

Thanks JT I was going to do the same thing.

Yes I know they still have 10 spokes, but they look quite a bit different is all I was saying. The DC-5 looks more like a traditional split 5 spoke, and the trackstars look like one of their splits is joined with one from the other split at the wheel since they are further apart if that's good or bad is subjective.

Also, the TSWs appear to have a hub that stick out further, and thus the spokes stick out further. Might end up being curb scrapers which is FAIL.

The Type M seems very forgiving in that picture. This is what made me not like it:

I'm just not fond of that curvature...personal opinion of course.

I'm torn on the other two...still thinking...

I'd like to see the black/red combo from the same angle, it's not going to reflect or look quite the same as those I don't think.

I'M OFFENDED!
He's got a goofy offet on those ones too. Get a little more out of it, and that curve goes away.

Good point on offset, I didn't think much about that. Just throwing ideas and opinions out there as I know how much of a PITA wheel options can be.

I like the trackstars myself....just because I like the overall look, and they aren't the traditional aftermarket 5-spoke.

The bronze type m's are my top choice for wheels right now.
I think they fit very well with what the ms3 brings to the table in stylee. Again all my opinion, but they would be my choice.

Charge THIS!!
i'm thinking the trackstars just because to me the Type-M's have a little bit too much going on, and i'm not a fan of the script in the lip on the DC-5s
