My MS6 - First time at the drag strip

Never been to a track before, let alone raced at one - so this was quite the event for me. I lined up against an SRT-4 with a massive front mount on my very first run and ended up cranking out a 13.5 (ended up beating him by over a .5 second). I felt damn good about the first pass - 4,500rpm with a slight clutch drop. Also ended up squeaking out an EVO a couple times - felt happy about that!

Had a few more passes and bested a 13.4 @ 103.4mph. I was super stoked considering I raced it in the same conditions I drive my car every day. I was running 1.8 60's all day. Here's the details on the best run:

Bikes were in the 8.8 range. That probe was running right around there - 2JZ swap so I hear. That Supra was murdering everything that day - bested an 8.2!! All in all quite a fun filled event.

Nice numbers. Did you see the black 2nd gen Eclipse that won the street AWD class? That's a guy and his son from my work's car. They ran a 10.5 @140. Pretty sick car. heard they were kind of lax on the safety rules, he should have been kick out cause he doesn't have a cage yet but wasn't.

They were pretty lenient on just about everything. I was supposed to have my radiator flushed, but didn't. They never checked. That Supra shoulda been kicked out as well since he ran lower than an 8.5..

I found out that EVO has 458awhp/473awtq. It was his first time there too, and his clutch was failing him. Someone buy me an EVO...shit.
