MS6 Turbine Tech Diff Mount

I installed the Turbine Tech rear diff mount(front) along with matching bushings for the rear mount a couple of weeks ago and I'm loving it. It really helps put the power to the ground. My previous best DashHawk 0-60 time was 5.25 secs. Yesterday, I ripped off a 4.87 and a 4.86. I also ran a 13.87 1/4 mile time @ 100.7 MPH. I'm definitely going to buy the Turbine Tech engine mount, now.

Well, if it's telling you that you knock 0.4s off your 0-60 just by installing a diff mount, Id venture to guess that the times are not terribly accurate.

Yeah, sub-5 second 0-60 on a speed6 is a bit low. I suppose you could think about it like dynos.... where the numbers are only relevant when compared to measurements from the same device.

On second thought, that improvement in 0-60 time is probably legit.... I guess I was thinking of it in terms of improvement over the posted time, rather than in terms of improving an average joe's ability to launch the car.

I don't know how accurate the DH times are, either. However, I do know that it never ever went below 5.25 before. So, I believe the change is real. I plan to take the car to Rock Falls this summer to see what it will really do.

I think once you see how flimsy the rear mount bushings are, you'll understand why this mod works.

Here are the step by step directions:
