Local MS3 Dyno numbers?

Has anyone put their Mazdaspeed 3 up on the dyno around here yet? I was out in the wife's car today (06 VW GLI w/ 2.0t and DSG :D) doing some spirited driving, and as I was merging onto the freeway a black Mazdaspeed3 tore past me. I thought he wanted to play a little, but starting races at ~90mph just doesn't make sense, unless you're in a honda (won't break 100mph anyways ;).

Anyways, I was wondering specifically if anyone had any numbers on LSE or DB's dyno dynamics dyno, either stock or with some minimal mods. I've read great reviews about these little FWD rockets and just wondering what kind of power they actually put down.

Anna's car is still stock, and so was that MS3, but it he clearly had a power advantage.

BC. The windows might have been slightly tinted, I don't remember. It was black, he wouldn't slow down at all to let me get a good look at it.

Didn't a mag get some dyno numbers like SCC. I remember reading the car dynoed 215 whp on a dynojet 248 and in somwhere around 249 for TQ.

Yea, the numbers have been all over the place, I've seen 215-250whp and 240-280lbs wtq. Most seem to be about 230/250, so I'm guessing the real numbers are right around there. It will be interesting to see what numbers some of the local dynos come up with. I'll be getting mine done within a couple weeks to get some base numbers before doing the trio (CAI, TBE, TMIC) and trying to crack the 300whp mark....

I'm pretty jealous about just how much you can open that mofo up with just a race pipe and an intake. From my understanding, 300whp will be a piece of cake with simple bolt-ons.

I wonder how far you can go before the turbo simply runs out of steam...

I'm jealous too. I'm a simple tune away from 220 whp with my MSP which should give a stock MS3 a good run for his money but a modded one will kill me I guess. Oh well. I'm not going to build my motor just to beat a MS3. I still wanna run a stock MS3 this summer when I get my Greddy Profec EBC installed and dialed in. I couldn't handle my POS mbc any longer.

110 HP of FURY!
I've seen MS6's get mods and hit the dyno with a loss of power, the MS3 & MS6 are still on a steep learning curve to what works and what doesn't. I'm just waiting for a nice PnP tuning unit hits the market.

I'll take you up on that offer, if my Speed3 is still stock by then.
Sounds good. I'd say you have the edge on me because of the TQ difference alone. Plus your car comes tuned from the factory with 230 WHP. My car isn't using the hp that well since it isn't tuned to have that much. Who knows it should close enough to at least to be somewhat fun for me.
