Internet setup/wiring at home question

Recently I moved my office setup upstairs and that includes the router and modem. When these where downstairs I had wires run to make wired connections up to various points of the house. Is there something out that that would let me pick up my wireless signal in a box back downstairs and then allow me to run that connection from that original point again through the house so I don't have to re-wire everything?

All you need is a second router with wireless bridging capability.

I have never personally set this up, but teh googles tell me it should be pretty straightforward.
