Joelle and I were talking today about shifter mods and such, and I came across the named product above. Oh, I should mention. I emailed him about using the plate and a short throw shifter, and he didn't recommend it. The two in combination would reduce the throw 60-70% and that would somehow put additional stress on the cable and mechanism.

So yeah.
