Getting my first time slip of the year.

I'm heading off to Cedar Falls Raceway Sat night for their midnight mania event. Racing from 9pm to 1am. Looks like a few of the DSM guys might be heading down there as well. Couple LSE guys as well.

So we'll see what I can get out of the car in 100% stock trim. I'm going to push it for that 13.99, but I'd be more interested in a good trap speed.

BTW, I'm posting this in here since the local dealers really don't need to know I'm headed to the track, just in case. lol

Anyone else up for going?

I think Matt D is going to roll with me down there as well. The plan is to get a hotel room since I don't want to drive back to the cities at 1:30 am. Then come back Sunday morning.

I'm staying at the Super 8 in Waverly (About 10 min north of the track).

I'm guessing just over 3 hours to the hotel with bad traffic in the cities at the start.

I'm debating on adding 100 octane to the tank right now as well. I'm having a hard time finding results from those who have already done it.

Why? You plan on turning the boost up or are you hoping to just get a few extra degrees of timing out of it?

I don't have anything to turn the boost up at all. I'm going off the fact that if there is any knock that is causing the car to fall on it's ass in WOT then hopefully increasing the octane rating might give me a little fight against it. Otherwise every fuck'n pass will be worthless.

I'm doing a bit of research on this first though.
