I have some RS-A runflats that will be going for teh expensive.....
Waitaminute..... those aren't good snow tires! Those are barely even tires. Just what kinda low-down, dirty scam are you trying to pull there mister!?

:busted2:

You can thank me later Mike... I just saved you from near disaster.

Thanks Jay! I was totally into them because of the runflat option. That is my biggest concern for the winter tires. I'm always on the lookout for those sharp pieces of ice that are infamous for puncturing tires. If i would have bought these he probably would have hooked me for the AWD mod he has been secretly working on in his garage.:wedgie: :crafty:

i had some bridgestone blizzaks for the lst two years on my old Infiniti G20 and they worked really well but wore awkwardly, they were also quite expensive. This year i got a set of 15" Hankook Winter I-Pike without the studs, i got them for about 450 maybe a little less for the tires and winter steel wheels. they are supposed to be an amazing winter tire that perform as well or better than the much more expensive nokians

where did you pick those up at? I'm also trying to find some winter wheels but I am having a hard time finding steel rims for my 3.

i got them off discounttire.com and just picked out some steel wheels with the right bolt pattern and picked the tires that fit the 15" rim. great deal, they shipped quickly and were already mounted and balanced.

Dunlop wintersport M3s. Great winter tires. Not as good on pure snow as the "snow" tires, but much better on dry/wet surfaces and much longer treadlife. Pretty grippy for a winter tire too.

Now that we have had some of the white stuff fly, and reports on your winter tires? I will be getting a set of these soon since it took me 15 min to get up the hill to my house. :KANE:

I'M OFFENDED!
Mike, I have a set of Blizzaks (Josh's in fact) that will fit your OE wheels. Lemme know if you want em!

I have Blizzacks on steelies and they work GREAT, its not even fun to drive in the winter with them really they just grab too well. even on ice. you can push them of course but even under the heaviest conditions this year, the car drove like it had 4 wheel drive.

Stopping is another issue, but you will have that problem with any tire. you just have to remember that you have Blizzacks and other people may not. so while your doing 60mph down the freeway passing people doing 30mph and your wondering why everyone is going so slow....then you try and stop.... Stopping power is better then stock for sure, but.
