Im planning on going April 7th for the fun day opener... anyone else planning on going?

I really want to get into autox/racing but have never done it before. What's a good way to start getting into this stuff? Just watching a couple at first or diving headon into them maybe? I think it would be pretty sweet to have a meet to go over the basics and help people get into this kinda thing!

if the weather warms up a bit, i will definately go- i had been planning on it. without a fmic, cooler weather is always a plus for us force inducted cars however if it isnt above 45 degrees i will just stay home and enjoy a saturday off work and plan to go to the SC day next weekend

I really wanted to go to this but with the weather being so cold I'm not sure if it will be that much fun. Still not sure what I'll do. As it sits right now, the forecast is for 35 degrees and 10mph winds so probably not.

For anyone interested in caravaning to rock falls, we will be leaving from the walmart off of 94 and woodbury drive (since its right on the way) at 6:30 am sharp. we will be meeting up between 6:15and 6:30. just thought i would post in case anyone in interested.

Rockfalls was a blast! Perfect weather. Slightly cool (perfect for non FMIC force inducted cars) yet nice enough to be outside in a t-shirt. It wasn't that busy for opener either- I got 7 runs in before the bracket racing.

My times were awesome too! Drastically better than last year... either I became a better driver or Sirius Satellite radio is an amazing hp mod cause my first run I pulled a 15.4 (last year I had a very hard time breaking a 16.0- I finally got a 15.9 on my last run). After, it was a pretty consistent 15.3 with the exception of the run I missed second.

Other than that, it was a blast.. too bad the next SC day isn't til June. Hopefully by then I will have my hardpipes and MBC installed with 8 psi... maybe I will be able to pull a high 14.

I know liquidspeed ran too pulling constant 14.5s in his speed 6.
