The George Carlin "Thank You" Thread.

As most know, George Carlin passed away and we truly lost one of, if not the greatest comedian of all time. Over the past few years I kept telling myself I wanted to see him live, and now that chance has passed. So I'm going to make a thread for those to talk about his work no matter if you liked it or not. Simply, George walked that fine line and didn't please the masses, but he knew that, worked that angle, and that made him great.

I'm a huge fan of his general stand up and he's one of the few I bought over the years. I'm going to look into getting some of his shows on DVD.

One of my favorite things was his political ramblings, just funny shit. I also love his "people he can live without" skit.

I remember some of his one liners that I would litteraly end up in pain from laughing so hard on.

I was fortunate enough to see him live in Vegas about 8 years ago and it was an unforgettable experience. He'll definitely be missed. I'm sure there are probably some great clips on Youtube of his stuff too.
