Plugs and coils for my 3?

It's getting to be the time (almost 90k) to change my plugs on my 04 Mazda 3. Jay mentioned the NGK Iridiums since they are the OEM plugs. I checked the site and they have multiple iridium plugs:

Iridium IX - Ultra performance

Laser Iridium - OEM Style

I'm wondering if anyone had tried either of them and what the experiences are? I'm guessing that I only need the OEM style since I don't have any real performance things done to my car. It's just a daily driver. Also, where is the best place to get them, online (got a site?) or at the local parts store?

I'm also wondering if I should change the coils as well? What are the recommendation for these if anyone has any?

I would recommend replacing them with exactly the OEM plugs. I recall seeing several discussions on m3f back in the day, and the general consensus was that they are probably the best available plugs for the application.

I would also bet you can get them at the dealer.

what about the coils? how often do those need to be replaced?

Those aren't a maintenance part. Shouldn't ever have to replace those unless they crap out.
