$OLD: MSP stock sub/amp/enclosure

Since AJ recently nixed the picture requirement, I can finally post up a FS thread for an item I've been too lazy to grab pics of! :D

So yep, I've got the factory Kenwood amp/sub/enclosure from an MSP (and MP3 I think) for sale. Make me an offer if you're interested. I'll probably post it on 247 as well, but I'd rather not ship it since it's heavy and bulky.

Oh, and I can get the specs if someone is interested as well.

yah, but money doenst grow on trees. this however is too good to pass up. she should definetly jump on it if she's into tunes.

haha, chick with the white Protege. I love it.
Say what now? $50 for an enclosure? I don't have a sub or anything crazy like that but maybe you could talk me into it. lol

Umm... actually it's $50 for the sub, amp, AND enclosure! The factory setup from the MSP/MP3 that attaches to the underside of the trunk deck.

Come to think of it, we started to take it apart for possible use in the beastiva, so I'd better check and make sure everything is still there before I play it up too hard... lol

Yep, everything is still there. Just need to screw the amp back onto the enclosure and reattach the speaker grille if you're interested.

Depends on a couple things... I'm not sure if the regular proteges have the bracket installed to mount the thing (I'll take a look in my car tonight to see if the bracket is removable or what the deal is). Also, let me check to see if the amp has line-level inputs. If so, all you really need is to run a power wire from the battery to the amp and connect the turn-on wire to a switched 12v source (ignition, or maybe even the factory radio)

Do you have an aftermarket stereo?

Okay, I'll take a quick peek at it tonight and give you a list of things you'd need to do to install it (none of it is difficult)

Okay Jen, here's what I've got as far as brackets:

Looking at it from straight-on:

The black bracket is what the enclosure was mounted to, as far as I can tell that's all it was for, and it's completely removable. It also looks like whatever it's bolted to can come out as well in case you don't have that. See anything like that in your trunk?

Almost 100% sure nothing like that in my trunk but I'll look tonight and let you know.
By the way, what time will you be free on Sat? Actually, tomorrow might work as well...
