Ok, I found a great place on the lake with boats and toys for rent. They had a group of 20 people over memorial weekend and it went great she said. It will be $9 per night per person. She said there is plenty of room for our tents and one pop-up. Check it out...I will take opinions for a day or two and then I am making the reservations!

Whoa, I've fished that lake, along with 3-4 others right around it. The fishing up there (well on the nearby lakes anyway) is pretty awesome, and it's quite beautiful. I don't think I've been to that resort specifically but the general area I give a big thumbs up to.

I still don't know if I'm free that weekend or not yet. I will post as soon as i know for sure!

I heard back from one more place. They have four campsites available for that weekend that they will make an exception for us to put all of our stuff on. It looks to be surrounded by three lakes and they also have all your boating needs for rent along with a free dock space per site if anyone wants to bring their boat. It is $33 per night and that includes up to three people. $3 extra per person over that. Check it out and give opinions. I will be making the reservation at one of the places by the end of this week.

We would obviously be in the campground area of the map. :)

Both of the sites look pretty awesome. One thing is that it looks like the first one does not have electricity at any of the tent campsites, while the second one has electricity available.

I know we had it last year, but I don't really recall using it for much of anything. (electricity that is)

110 HP of FURY!
AJ & Jana (may take us a few weeks to confirm due to the kiddo and such, but we are interested in going this year)

Just my opinion of course, but the second one looks a lot nicer with the pool and all, which can be good or bad. More rustic means less likelihood of kids vs. a place with a pool, but it also means more rustic for us...lol

Last year the one we were at had a pool and there were kids in it, a bunch. I don't know that it will matter. Kids will be around. The first year, we had a neighbor kid playing the wii with us. They are just around. :)

It is looking like by my figuring that it will cost us the exact same if 16 of us show at either place. So...place your votes.

Pool or no pool?
Electric or no electric?
Right by the water or about 400 feet from it?

These are the differences it looks like. ;)

Ok so the place where I have reservations at has 2 pontoons for $90 for the whole day. Right now they have both available but we know it is only June. So if you truly have an interest in getting together to use one.............which is really nice if there is good weather and the fishing is fantastic someone said.....then let me know. I will reserve one if there are enough people.

Also, sign up so we can account for you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would be as well!!! Last year it was a blast and it will be more fun to have it for a full day rather than four hours.

I'd vote for right by the water above any of those other differences. I'm not 100% yet though so yeah.
