1990 Mitsubishi Galant LS

Tauni

I'm confused.
Well I've decided to put the Galant up for sale, as I can't find a place to store it while I'm at school, and paying for a storage locker for it just doesn't seem worth it to me.

As most of you know, this isn't the nicest car in the world, haha. I'll try my best to cover everything the good and bad.

Lets start with the basics...
Its a 1990 Mitsubishi Galant LS
Blue with rust and ugly blue interior
4-Door
4 Cylinder Automatic with the SOHC 4g63 (shockingly)
VIN:JA3CR56V9LZ018076
Has about 143k on it

On to the good stuff...
For the most part this thing has been well maintained. I stay fairly constant on the oil changes and there have been many other things replaced since I've owned the car. Bought the car in October or November of 2006 and have replaced:
Lower radiator hose
Thermostat
Fuel Pressure Regulator
02 sensor
Throttle Position Sensor
Valve Cover Gasket
Plugs and wires
One new tire
Rear brake system was fixed, not sure EXACTLY what they did, but I have the record some place
And more I just can't remember
Also this car has a JVC Kameleon deck in it. It works fine except if it gets to hot or if you play the same CD in it too many times it will stop playing CD's for awhile. All you have to do when this happens is turn the radio on for awhile and it goes back to normal. Also it has two 12" subs and I believeeee about a 900 watt amp or so, but honestly I can't remember because its just not all that important to me. I'll look though. They sound nice EXCEPT for the fact that the front speakers are pretty much done for.
The car runs pretty good over all. Starts all winter long and the transmission has always been good, no slips and what not.

Now the bad....
First and most obvious, this car is freakin UGLY. Its got rust, scratches, dings, one dent on the trunk, a hubcap missing, and a piece broken off of the front headlight (though not in a manner that it actually affects it). It burns oil and leaks a tiny bit from the oil pan gasket. Occasionally it has the tendency to hesitate a bit, but it doesn't always do that, and when it does it only does it for a second til you get going. It used to do this thing where it would click and die but then come back on right away, but it hasn't done it in months, so I don't know if it is miraculously cured or what (this is why so many random things got replaced), but for the life of me I can't figure out what it is. It only has one windshield wiper, which is on the drivers side, but I think that will be an easy fix. Its going to need three new tires within the near future. Front brakes need to be done anddd the anetenna is pretty much effed but it still works.

Honestly its not the greatest car in the world, but its not the worst either. This car has gotten me around pretty reliably and has made it back and forth from Duluth, Grand Rapids, Princeton, and Eau Claire on more than one occasion.

I guess I'll just start the price off at $900 and see where it goes. No low balls or "joke offers". Its not worth much but it is worth something.

Please PM me on here or email me at trlangelett@gmail.com. I check both regularly.

PICS (please note the car has a bit more rust than in the pictures, but not much. These pictures are from awhile back. Interior is still that clean when I don't have a bunch of clothes in the back haha)

OK I was WAYYY off on the system. It has two 10" audiobahns and a 1200 watt power acoustik amp.

Car unexpectedly took a crap on me. I need it gone like RIGHT now. If I had to guess I'd say its either a battery or an alternator. $300 and you tow it out of my dad's driveway.
