I think it was the new issue of "wired" that said the demand for netbooks have been so high that the supply of materials needed for the Intel Atom chip are very low and the price of netbooks could see a significant price hike... Thought I would share.

Weight w/ 3 cell battery 1Kg or 2.3lbs. I have been playing with mine for about a week. It is an amazing machine. I have tested about a 1,000 of these for a local puter company. They are unbelievable for the price. I'm getting a white one for the wife (new) & will run OSX on it for her. Mine will be dual boot WXP & OSX. I'm waiting for my new copy of OSX to show up, I want a legal copy just so I have few issues if others want me to set theirs up.

I take mine everywhere, I keep in in my book bag (back in college again...) I'm also working on custom modified LCD back panels for it. If I can get materials & keep my costs down, otherwise it will be a one of a kind deal.

I may have seen a white/black one They had a two tone model. White ones I can only get at full retail, no discounts... & I have tried to get one for the wife.
I have also seen a couple Pink ones, but they go out as fast as they come in.

I picked one up from Frank Friday and was thoroughly impressed with the quality.

Looked brand new. No flaws. Boots up super quick. So far soo good.
